Airship is a meticulously cared for 2013 Nordic Tug 34 with many upgrades and additions, and is as close to turnkey as possible. It’s time for us to move to a slightly larger boat (or else we’d keep her forever!) This is a wonderful well-built vessel, and perfect for two people. We have cruised her all over the San Juan Islands, the Gulf Islands, the west side of Vancouver Island, and up the Inside Passage to Alaska. She’s capable and comfortable and outfitted perfectly for long range cruising.

History

We purchased Airship in September 2014.

We have cruised her almost 2,600 hours since then – counting four trips up the Inside Passage from Puget Sound throughout Southeast Alaska, and three circumnavigations of Vancouver Island. This is a solid, well-built and equipped, proven reliable vessel with ample capabilities and comforts.

Since purchase, we have done numerous upgrades including all new Garmin electronics, Amtico flooring throughout, 600Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate house batteries, 520W Solar power system, Magnum 2,800 W pure sine wave inverter, Racor dual fuel filter, 20Kg Rocna anchor and 380′ combination rode, dual Downrigger outlets, Force 10 Range/Oven, Isotherm refrigerator/freezer, dimmable LED lights in salon and stateroom, valence lighting, (3) Weems & Plath instruments and clock, Wilson/WeBoost cell booster system, Frigibar deck-top chest freezer, Microwave, 24″ HD TV, Slumber Ease custom mattress, Suzuki 20HP fuel-injected outboard for dinghy, and dinghy storage/seats.

We have maintained Airship carefully, have kept full maintenance records, and have done Blackstone oil analysis with each oil change.

September 23, 2018 – Airship is currently in Sidney, BC, and will return to Anacortes on September 30. Airship will be hauled out in Anacortes, Washington on October 2, 2018 for new bottom paint and zincs. Also, we’ll be taking the name “Airship” on to our next boat, so you can’t have it. Though we did have someone ask if “The Boat Formerly Known as Airship” would be okay. Or a symbol. We said “maybe.” ?
